Saw a quote last year that said to NOT ask, "What is my higher / best self?" but rather, "What is My FAVORITE self?" -- LOVE that.
SO (you guessed it!) I wrote a poem.
(I actually wrote 2, so this is the first one, in free verse.)
I am
going to be
my FAVORITE self.
Do what I want
Be who I am
Others may shame
Let them try
they can F*CK OFF
I'll still be
ME
fun, loud, boisterous
ME
Tryin to make sense
and find harmony.
