When I first did this, I just had the main lettering but found it too plain, so I added the side lettering.

"May you find joy no matter how small, each day."

Another Joyful postcard:

May you find JOY in the present moment.

I combined some L Doctor inspo with this abstract piece, lettering first ("masking") then watercolor, but sectioning off.

 

New brush pens (white ink)

Still working on "perfecting" my pointed brush work...  😉

*The boundary lettering says, "Let your love shine" (lyrics from the Pablo Cruise song, "Love will Find a Way", and I did asemic lettering in-between with a few lyrics.

I struggle with white ink too, mainly white gouache and the Bleed-Proof white. It's rare I get the perfect consistency and if so, it's not enough. (Sigh.) SO, I found these brushes and thought I'd give them a try.

Top (longer one): Zig Cartoonist Brush Pen

Bottom: Zig Cartoonist Ultra Fine White Brush Pen

These sound the same and both have the same small brush tips (LOVE!) but for some reason, the ink in the smaller one comes out too much.

Hard to letter and hard to control ink flow. (I think it's mostly for correcting mistakes.)
