Having fun with the Ferris Wheel Press April Showers ink!

My own mixtures (ink)

So, in playing with my new inks, I decided to try my own mixtures:

This is some blue metallic ink mixed in with some Ecoline watercolor ink. So fun!

And another.

Makes me want to mix in all/diff. colors.

And this is green watercolor mixed with green non-waterproof ink.

Robert Oster Marine ink (Vanness)

This is such a fun ink, as (in the close-ups) you can see the maroon outline.
I'm so glad it finally showed up because it didn't at first (I might have to give the bottle a little shake).

I lightened these pics even more:

And this one could use be lightened up more too.

Vanness Adventurine ink

I decided to break down my inks into smaller posts.

So, here is the Ferris Wheel Press Adventurine:

LOVE this ink. So fun. (Need to lighten the pic though.)

Lighter version.

Another angle.

I just got a sample vial, but hoping to get a bigger one next time. (SO expensive!)

New inks! (Fun, fun!)

A fellow IG-er told me about some fun inks at Vanness, so I treated myself as an after-Cmas gift!

I ordered sample vials, and had this box I saved (from my glass pen, that I bought a few years ago) -- works perfect!

This is the name of the ink: Lakambini (Vista inks). It's pink with a gold sheen/glitter. So pretty!

Blue Velvet Storm (Robert Oster) -- can you see the glitter?

more close-up and lightened a bit.

Monteverde Kindess Pink (no sheen or glitter I can see) -- is suppose to have a green-ish outline or tint.

Ferris Wheel Press Mulberry, "mixed" with PP ink.

This is walnut ink mixed with gold watercolor (and some leftover ink in my Parall. pen) -- my own mixture.

cannot remember this mixture.

Again, cannot remember mixture here.

12 Days of... (Cmas)

In December, while doing my 25 Days of Letters, I got this idea to do a proper 12 Days project, as the first day of Cmas starts on Dec 25 and goes through Jan 6.

Here is my announcement video (pic below), utilizing a sample tool for each day:

Tools: Parallel pen, Automatic pen (5 split nib), chisel-tip calligraphy markers (Cmas colors), crayon for masking, Posca pens, Zig brush marker.

And, here is my collage pic, as well as a few close-ups below.

Abstract tree trees using my RW

5 diff. size Parallel pens

Gestural writing with my extra fine pt Posca pens

Again, Posca pens. I love how it shows up florescent.

2mm chisel-tip callig. marker (Cmas), used for gestural lettering.

5.0 mm ebbing green callig. pen & small 2.0 mm Y&C

More "New Year's" samples

Didn't know what to do for New Year's this year, so here are a few "play" samples.

Pilot Parallel pen

Scratch art! (tried to make it gestural, but failed) 😕

More scratch art. Tried doing Dancing Cap numbers.

Parallel pen (see video below!) -- not a demo, but just for fun.

So time-consuming, and pretty happy with how it turned out -- that's why I'm posting!

Posca pen

Did as an insert.
