Be Kind mini book

SO, remember my Sneak Peek from a few weeks ago? ( https://foldedpenfan.blogspot.com/2025/08/sneak-peek.html )

Well, it is part of this mini book that is now finished!

Cover. (The lettering within the d loop is musings about being kind to yourself.)

This was a scrap piece where I had lettered "be kind" and I didn't know what to do with it, but just as I was about to toss I decided to turn into a book.

Before adding lettering

Added more script to the back ("spread kindness" is to the Right)

These were the original designs I had for the book pages, but they didn't work. (1. The designs weren't cohesive and 2. I needed more opaque paper.)

Adding teal wasn't my intent... this was a piece of scrap paper and at the bottom was a small area from a teal marker. I wish I had covered up with black instead (to make it more cohesive) -- and actually I still could -- but at the time, I thought I'd add teal to the rest of the page. And in doing so, had to add teal to other pages. WHICH I could still do (to the cover) OR try going over with black.

Next page. I had written a quote with brush, but had messed up, so I tried covering up the opposite way (see below) I then added more lettering and w/c in the middle section, as I was calling out to me to do so!

You can barely see, but I added, "give yourself the love you deserve" and other quotes, trying to make a design from the lettering.

I then added this paper strip a the bottom:  "Be Kind to You"

SO mad at my mess up....can you see it?

I still plan to send to a snail mail participant.
