More masking with "Gifts" poem

 I have a page in my Art Journal I need to cover, so I decided to do another masked piece on black paper. Again, I had fun, AND even got ANOTHER idea!

first, I masked off the area for the smaller lettering.

used white Ziller ink and my new ruling pen to lettering big abstract (wish I had used my Horizon nib instead)

After the white ink dried, I then painted over with metallic watercolors.

removed the tape and lettered small (again Enviro) with my white Glaze gel pen

I then used color pencils to fill in some areas to make them darker. I may do even more.
