Only 1 pic for this post!
Here is yet another abstract design made into a card. For this I used a ruling pen (another product available at P&I). Just like the Ruling Writer and folded nib, you can manipulate this tool to get thick and thin lines. Also, like a Ruling Writer, (but UNlike a folded pen), you can adjust the opening by turning the screw. Personally, I prefer a narrower opening, so I can get very thin lines especially for script writing (shown in upcoming post!)

This was what I posted on my account:
Halfway through the week for my @paperandinkarts #instagramtakeover -- i hope you are viewing my posts there! Featured item today: the ruling pen.
Today's pic on my account is a script/ gestural alphabet made with my ruling pen and blue pearlescent acrylic ink. I find this type of ink flows rather smoothly with this pen, although sometimes I do have to dip it in water. Swipe to see an older design I created (same as PI pic), and also be sure to check out Stories/ highlights!
