July!

Another from my Redos Challenge in January (2022).

Practice piece that turned out fab. Just not the correct colors. Folded pen.

A trial piece done with my new slant Parallel pen. Not bad.

Collage pic. Bottom Right is original (automatic pen) and Top Left is also automatic pen but more gestural.

Confetti

Did this for an IG Challenge last year, but am posting today in honor of my son's hs graduation. (Time to Celebrate!!)

Tried to combine with with my Neon challenge but colors didn't show up very bright.

Happy with how my lettering turned out!

TY to Shannon; Mail Art book

 from June 2020:

Shannon had organized a call for Mail Art during the pandemic, and I just wanted to send her a little thank you, as it was so great for me to partake (and the "rules" were great! Focused on words.)

Just her name done simple with walnut ink.

Matching card. (this is Shannon's pic, as 1) I forgot to take a pic and 2) hers turned out great! makes my work look even better -- she posted to IG. Thanks again Shannon!)

*UPDATE:
So, Shannon and Erica (Canada) worked together on the Mail Art call and published all the pieces in a book! It's selling on amazon and I got mine today.

So fun. A perfect coffee table book. So proud to be involved (although I cringe at some of my work from then!)
