Testing ruling pen

Playing with one of my ruling pens.

I love how it makes such fine lines. Need to play with it more so I can manipulate it better.
(Harder to hold than a regular pen.)

Pointed brush similar

Did this last June (2020).
I cannot remember, but I believe i used my pointed brush for her name. However, you can see that it looks very similar to folded pen work. (I'm sure I used my brush b/c of the porous paper and bleeding/feathering.)

Added tiny gem stickers. Close ups below:

Congrats testing

Was just playing/testing and love how this turned out!

I esp. love how the splatters from the pen and ink look festive.

Congrats.

It's graduation season, so I made a handmade card for one of our neighbors:

Pretty happy with how it turned out.

Env. with name (you can barely see the colorful dots that match)

Some trial pieces.

Did this one for my IG Neon Challenge.

And this is another trial piece I want to redo:

Bleach on Neon Green (to Maureen)

This is from May 2019. Did bleach on green astrobrights paper using a homemade folded pen.

Bleach can be tricky, esp. when it bleeds (and while you're waiting for it to show). You never know what color you may get or if it will run.

Didn't think this turned out too bad, as I struggle with M's. I added black and pink accents to make it look fun (and a bit "spring-y"?)

Get "Creative"!

Did both these for a lettering challenge on IG:

Used a wood circle for the dot over the i.

Do not like my e, but do like the diff. color a. (Just wish I had done in a diff. hand)

Horizon folded pen.
