Love for All...

I found out about the 100 Day Project for this year, and decided to partake. My only dilemma was WHAT to do.

I finally decided to letter 10 simple, yet inspiring quotes, 9 different ways, then a collage of them for the 10th one.

Here is my first:

I think this is from 2019.

Not too bad for acrylic ink. I had to add color on top so it looks more vibrant.

You can see the progression. (Doesn't photograph that well either.)

 

script alpha to Leanne

Wanted to do an alpha exemplar, making the "hi" different/stand out, to say, "hi leanne!", but it's kind of hard to make out.

Although you can use almost any pen to make script/gestural lettering, i always reach for one of my folded pens. 

Darn ink bled on the env. so I had to do some splatters, etc. to cover up the mess.

Was just playing but like how it turned out.

New Year's (2019)

This was a bit of a fun one. Lettered on Bond paper, and filled in with metallic watercolors.

Another piece where I was thrilled at how it turned out at the time, but now I want to redo,

I still like it a lot, but not sure what is bothering me.

Funky Cmas Tree

 Saw this gouache on IG and had to get!

Used my RW and metallic acrylic ink for the tree.
