American Idiot

Lately, been re-discovering my love of Green Day (thanks SB LX '26 pre-game show!) so here's one version of American Idiot:

Silence is the Enemy.

After hearing Green Day was going to be performing at the Super Bowl preshow, i knew I had to letter one of their songs, as I've always been a fan. Not a HUGE, but still a fan. And now, and even BIGGER fan!

Although "Warning" is my fave song, I decided to letter "Know Your Enemy" as I love the lyric: Silence is the Enemy, esp. right now.

Used one of my Pilot pens and green India ink.

then used pp and metallic ink for the rest of the lyric

For the chorus, I used a grey Posca and lettered around the words in the opp. way.

At little late creating the Bad Bunny quote but also in time for Vday!!

Wrote the first part in Spanish and ended with inglesa!

pointed pen and Horizon nib with white India ink. (What??? THREE different cultures???)  ;)  😉😊

And then, I did this for a pen pal.

Alternated the quote in inglesa and Spanish with 3d heart on top.
