Day 19: Write Now

Tried to duplicate this as I wanted the NOW to be a bit different. BUT not bad!

SO close.

 

Day 18: Sattva

NGL... am getting a bit bored/ frustrated with this challenge. Not as fun as I'd hoped (partially b/c of my markers -- either not as crisp or too dried out.) BUT that's why I'm doing the challenge:  to use them and filter out!

 

Day 17: Lettering

Was struggling with this one.

Metallic on black (i think I like this best, except fo rmy G.)

tried cutting and pasting, but not liking this either.

 

Day 15: Dharma

Had trouble with this one, as my versals (ala Julien Chasel) weren't turning out with my marker.

So this is what I posted late for Day 15 on IG.

Day 12: GTA VI

I have no idea what this means/stands for but I like how mine turned out!

(i tried looking it up, as there are a lot of words on the list I'm unfamiliar with but all I found was Grand Theft Auto VI -- ???)

i don't know why, but I'm struggling with how to letter most of the prompts.

(That's probably why I never participated!)

Anyway, here's a little hope for ya.

 

Day 9: Create

I feel like a lot of my creations for Callivember are mixed lettering. Whatever...i'm still having fun.

My marker was drying out so this is with it dipped in water.

And again drying out... (video of this below)

I like my top version a bit better b/c of the a but I like the first e on this one.

Day 6: Kindness

This represents that kindness comes in all shapes and sizes. Even the smallest act can have a great effect on someone. Aim to Be Kind.  ;)

Day 5: Te Amo

i'm having lots of fun sketching but am getting frustrated trying to bring them to life!

I only messed up a little with this one. Ligature not too bad.

Colors are off as is my o.  :(

i wanted my o to fit better in the C (like my sketch) but oh well.

Messed up the R a bit (waaaa.) but I like my ligature!

 

Day 3: Patience

Using my metallic markers for this one.

Not sure what I was going for but a little gestural lettering going on.
