100 Days Challenge, 2025: "100 Days of Inventory"

In addition to wanting to declutter and organize my art room, I also have a goal of using what I already have, as far as art supplies. (That, and finishing projects I've started from years ago, Creating something from my ideas/ sketches, and Making cards/inserts, etc.)

SO what better way to do this than going through them all for the next 100 Day Challenge!

I'm so excited about this, as that will be a way for me to play with most all my supplies. I keep wanting to inventory everything -- in a fun way -- and have never made time. So, now I am!

Below are a few pics of some supplies i plan to utilize. I'm just not sure quite yet how to go about it. Some of them will be easy (using inks for various projects, "cataloging" all my gel pens, etc.), and others, I'll have to get creative with.

The challenge starts Feb. 23 and I can't wait to partake! (it'll be my 6th time) -- *See below for my other completed 100 Day Projects

Most of my India ink (Dr. Martin Bombay), and a few others, plus gouache.

Wink of Stella brush pens, New W&N pointed brushes (for lettering!) and Pentel brush pens.

Various fun, unique inks. (some from Vanness, some Ferris Wheel Press)

just SOME of my nice papers! (esp. watercolor) and journals.

Markers:  xtra fine pt Poscas (new from Cmas 2023!), neon watercolors, Crayola gel markers and brights, various nibs.

Lots of pp nibs (and other lettering pens)

Unique tools: dried brushes, bamboo sticks, etc.

B-nibs

Various Broad-edge pens, I use occasionally.

Most all my pointed brush pens.

These are just a "few"! 😉 (I keep accumulating more...)

3.       Fall 2021:  100 Days Redos

*That's 3 in one year!

4.       Early 2022:  100 Days of Markers

5.       Early 2023:  100 Days Journal Prompts (2 books) --

i tried to get in the habit of daily journaling

Can't wait to start posting!

Mini Book: Winter

With some of my env. swaps, I receive a lot of fun items, some of which are little papers. I have no idea where the ladies get this ephemera, but I've been using the small fun sheets to make mini books.

I'm still getting the hang of binding, but the most tricky part is lettering so small. Sometimes, it works, other times, it's a fail.  😕  This was one of those times...

I had great ideas for this, but I think the quotes I used were too long.
i'm still sending, as I spent so much time on it.

For the front cover, I used this sticker and "Winter Wishes" in pp.

Here is one sheet of the fun mini papers.

And another

This rub-on stamp is so old; I couldn't believe it worked!

I was so excited to repurpose this stamp, but it looks to cluttered.

A fun technique with watercolors and salt. Reminded me of snow. (Darn lettering bled though. Waaa.)

Backside with the env. (Env is Lina's name lettered in the shape of a snowflake.)

mini book for Angelique

This was an experimental mini book I decided to send to Angelique. Didn't turn out well b/c of the paper used, but I tried my best to make it presentable!

It was a lettering piece done a few years ago that said "Blessed". (see before piece here:

It's a Gratitude book.

Messed up the "yourself", as I wanted it gold, but was mixing inks.
I also wish I had kept the right side blank.

Need to work on my pp slants.

You can see from the back that it says "Blessed" upside down.

Block Numbers

Since it's the new year, and so many of us have lettered 2025, thought I'd post these numbers I created a while ago.
Not sure about the year (2006? 2008?) but I participated in a numbers exemplar exchange (my idea on some online callig group I was a member of -- The Calligraphy Exchange?)

Not sure if you can tell, but it's a mixture of block and "dancing caps" numbers.

New Year...

I actually created this last year for an exchanger, but forgot to post, so since it's not specific to any year, will post now!

Love this quote. When I first lettered it, it didn't turn out, so I painted over (with just sumi ink I think), then re-lettered with pointed pen and metallics. Much better!

Folded pen for the design.
