New Art Supplies!

During my 31 Days of (Bewitching) Envelopes challenge (for Halloween -- on IG via PaperSource... See my Snail Mail blog:  https://snailmailingmadness.blogspot.com/ ), i really got into using my pointed pens, and was loving it! 

I needed new ones, and of course, when ordering any new art supplies, I gotta stock up!  😉

So I made a little vid to share on IG. Can't wait to play!

hello Fall! (a bit late)

I lettered this last year and forgot all about it!

So, although fall starts late Sept., the leaves are a-poppin' right now!

*As a kid, I use to let them crawl all over my fingers/hands. It's rare I see them anymore, so when I do, I'm sure to stop and admire them!

Any Looney Tunes fans out there? I did this insert for a LT themed Halloween envie. Used my lovely Brody pen and mixed Ecoline watercolor and Dr. Martin India ink.

Also, I like to give credit when I can, to something I'm trying to replicate, and I hope I do that well on here! (sometimes I think I may have come up with an original idea, only to see it online later!) 

Who knows if what I'm giving credit to is the original or not, as the person who posted might have copied something as well. Although it's fun to try things I see (also in order to better my lettering), it's not cool to pass off as one's own.
