More funky lettering (Parallel pen)

Been experiment more with this type of lettering (thick/thin alternate).

Part of some self-love quotes for a July 2022 IG challenge.

Love how the colors with this one look jewel-toned/sparkly.

Grateful

In April of 2020, I did a month long project on IG about gratitude.

Of all the pieces I created, only a handful of them turned out to my liking. This was one of them.

I was so happy with this one, esp. b/c it was somewhat of a happy accident. I liked it so much, that I uploaded the image and ordered cards off of Vista Print.

The colorful block letters are in watercolor.

Here it is in b&w, just for fun:

"Scuba-duba-do-boo-boo"

I LOVE the new Harry Styles album ("Harry's House") and one of my new fave songs is, "Music for a Sushi Restaurant".
Had to letter these fun lyrics. (Pilot Parallel Pen)

*Some people might say this doesn't fall under the folded pen category (and I kinda agree), however, my lettering does!  😉

July!

Another from my Redos Challenge in January (2022).

Practice piece that turned out fab. Just not the correct colors. Folded pen.

A trial piece done with my new slant Parallel pen. Not bad.

Collage pic. Bottom Right is original (automatic pen) and Top Left is also automatic pen but more gestural.
