30 Days of Boos

In 2019, I decided to do another "word" challenge, 

so I did 30 Days of Boos.

It was VERY challenging, as I ran out of ideas. But I was thrilled with how some turned out. So, here are a few faves.

I love this B. Tried to use it with my idea below, but didn't quite work out.

Happy 25 to me (and the hubs)

 My 25th wedding anniv. was Oct. 2017 and for my hubby's gift, I made this little tag with silver wrapping paper (I didn't think to take a picture -- grrr., but I still could "re-create".)

As I've written previously, although I've gone through "spurts" with my art, this is the type of thing I would create every so often for my family or others (friends, etc.)

I love how it turned out (it looked great with the paper!) I love numbers and esp. Sherri K's dancing caps.

It's Halloween season!!! 

So, here are a few pieces from some IG lettering challenges.

I don't like the last one as much as the first 2, but at the same time, there's something about it. 

And just for fun, one done with a chisel tip nib. (Need to work on my gothic lettering style!)

This is one I tried to emulate from Rachel Yallop (except I added the ghost for the o). Wish I had left my h & s as shown below. (I did a video for this and these are screen shots.)

Just for fun, I played with filters.

I think I like this the best.

hello Sydney.

 i LOVE the Scream movies, so I decided to make a piece for those b/c of Halloween.

(again, from 2019)

Just wish I had thought to take a pic with a butcher knife. 

Ghost Redo (& video)

My original (below) of this is near perfect. The only thing wrong is the darn top tail of the g. I hate how it crosses the h (makes it look like a t). It's bugged me ever since I posted on IG last year. It especially bothered me because of my video. The music matched up PERFECTLY! (happy accident!)

I've been trying to get into making videos lately, but I'm still a novice. However, (although not as clear as I'd like) I love how this one turned out, esp. after I make the "o".

                                            

I didn't even want to try to redo the video, although I could. Maybe next year. (First time posting video to blog!)

Spooked.

This was another piece for a HLC.

You can't tell, but I did sparkly ink for the eyew.

Love how it turned out, but I want to redo for our house, and just letter, "Spooky".

disgusting.
